Weybridge's Freddy Nordstrom finished second and fourth in the latest two rounds of the SEAT Cupra Championship at Knockhill, Fife, last weekend.
Starting from third on the R Class grid for round 17 on Sunday morning, the Advent Motorsport driver made the right choice in selecting wet tyres, which gave him ample grip on a tight and twisting circuit.
Along with R Class championship leader Harry Vaulkhard, Nordstrom pulled away from the pack to secure his eighth podium finish of the year.
The second race saw very close racing and Nordstrom dropped from second on the grid to fourth at the end.
Nordstrom goes into the final race weekend at Thruxton on October 14 and 15 in fourth place in the championship.
