Teddington's Kieran Leinster thanked his fans after winning his latest Queensbury Boxing League middleweight bout on Saturday.
Leinster powered his way to a second round technical knockout triumph over Simon Harrison at the Effingham Park Hotel in West Sussex.
The former St Mary's University student had claimed he was in the best physical and mental shape of his life - coupled with better boxing knowhow - prior to the fight.
And so it proved, as Harrison - who stepped in following the late withdrawal of Darrell McCabe - hit the canvas twice in the second round and faced three standing counts before the referee called it a day.
"Thank you for all the messages and support," said Leinster after his victory.
"It means a lot and makes every victory worthwhile."
