Despite his manager’s fears, Crystal Palace striker Emanuel Adebayor reckons he could be fit to face West Ham United tomorrow.
The striker picked up an injury playing for Togo in mid-week, leading Alan Pardew to reveal yesterday that they were “desperate to get him up to speed”.
However, Adebayor, who has one goal in seven appearances for the Eagles, used his Instagram account to deliver hope to Palace fans.
He said: “Went for a quick scan this morning. Everything looks good so far, no major concern.”
It would be a welcome return for Pardew, as he is likely to be without Mile Jedinak and Yohan Cabaye, while Connor Wickham is also a doubt.
