The Wildkats beat Downsview Prison 3-0 (25-8, 25-8, 25-9) on Saturday enabling them to take an unassailable lead in the Surrey Volleyball League Ladies Division.
This 'home' fixture followed the 'away' fixture, also at Downsview Prison in Sutton, the previous weekend, which the Wildkats also won 3-0.
In Steve Williams' debut season as coach, the Wildkats have finished the season with a won 12, lost two record. This is a significiant achievement given the division also includes strong teams such as Ashcombe, British Airways and Guildford.
The team Saturday consisted of Jo Winwood (captain), Katja Mildner, Manuela Murino, Sonja van Dijk, Frida Oscarsson, Els Bindels and Audrey Toulerou.
Meanwhile the Werewolves beat Egham away in Division Three but the Wolves lost a tight game away to British Airways 3-1 in Division One.
