Sutton & District AC enjoyed a golden weekend at the Surrey Schools Championships bringing home eight gold medals.
In the junior boys, Tom Harmsworth took the 300m in 39.05secs, representing central Surrey.
Clubmate and borough-mate Jennifer Nicholson won the junior javelin with a throw of 27.21m.
Representing the borough of Sutton, Shaun Cooke won the inter boys’ 400m in 50.34secs, and Chris McAlister won the senior men’s 400m in 51.16secs.
There were also wins for Laura Reilly in the senior 100m hurdles (16.18secs) for Kingston , and Nathan Inkester in the inter boys’ 800m (1:59.30) for Merton.
Representing Croydon in the 100m, Imani Lansiquot (11.98secs) won the inter women’s sprint, and Sophia Henlon (12.65secs) won the junior class.
