Dulwich remain rooted to the bottom of Surrey Championship division one after another defeat on Saturday.

Dulwich were beaten by five wickets and have so far lost all five league games. They made 197-9 from 66 overs on Saturday and Beddington reached that target inside 54 overs.

Old Whitgiftians had a much better day, beating Farnham by 101 runs. Shahnawaz Malik’s 59 not out helped them to 202-9 and Murtaza Hussain took four wickets as Farnham were all out for 101.

Dulwich host Normandy on Saturday and Old Whit welcome Leatherhead.

In division two, Purley lost by seven wickets to Chessington and Trinity Mid-Whitgiftian narrowly lost by one wicket to Walton-on-Thames. It leaves them second bottom and facing bottom club Ashford at home on Saturday, while Purley go to Worcester Park.

Croydon’s form team is Chipstead, Coulsdon & Walcountians. They made it five wins from five games by beating Churt at home by 135 runs in division three on Saturday. Salil Oberoi scored 141 and took six wickets in the win. They go to Streatham & Marlborough on Saturday.
