Kingston AC & Polytechnic Harriers had a weekend to remember at the Surrey County Track & Field Championships picking up eight gold medals.

Leading the way were the women who left Kingsmeadow after the bank holiday weekend with five gongs.

Dominique Blaize took the senior 100m in 12.13secs, while Mary Iheke won the 400m in 55.02secs.

In the U20s, Mae Thompson won the 200m by less than half a second, clocking 26.13secs. Pippa Earley also triumphed in the U13 200m (27.8secs).

There was more gold in the U17s where Phoebe Callaghan-Mills won the high jump (1.59m) and Phoebe Law won the 1,500m (four minutes, 53.3secs). For the men, Andrew Robinson won the senior 5,000m in 16:01.34, while Gareth Cook threw 51.51m to win the hammer.

Sam Shaw flew the flag in the U13s, winning the 800m in 2:23.57.
