Surbiton Hockey Club’s colts section had more success to celebrate last weekend as the side won three national titles.
The colts’ haul included both U14s championships and the girls’ U12s championship. In addition, the boys came third in their U12s competition.
The U14s championships were held over the weekend at Highfields Sports Club in Nottingham. The boys beat Havant 3-0 in the final while the girls beat Teddington 1-0 to make it a double celebration.
The U12s event was held at Cannock Hockey Club. The girls prevailed 5-4 on penalty strokes in the final against Worcester, while the boys were only denied a place in the final by a late goal and had to settle for third.
