Two Hampton students were in the England team that played Scotland in an Independent Schools FA international match last week.
Liam Wells and Dominic Michel, both students at Hampton School, helped England to a 3 – 0 victory over the ‘auld enemy’ in a match played at Aldershot Town FC.
Liam and Dominic had just returned from an England ISFA tour to Germany, playing against semi-professional teams.
The victory over the Scots gave the England ISFA team an unbeaten season, and made it a great year for the local lads.
They were both part of the Hampton School team that reached the final of the ISFA Cup in March, losing to Millfield School at Cheltenham Town FC.
Liam and Dominic were joined at international level by another Hampton student, Carlo Mole, who has been selected for the England ISFA U-14 team.
