HSBC 0 KEW ASSOCIATION 4

On an immaculate surface, Kew Association started the game very lively, creating several early chances but unable to find the finishing touch.

The Ham-based side's efforts efforts were rewarded after 15 minutes ,when Gareth Roberts scored following a defensive error.

After taking the lead, the visitors created some more excellent chances that should have given them a comfortable lead at half time.

However, Kew failed to convert and, right on half-time and against the run of play, HSBC had a goal-bound header from a corner cleared off the line.

If this had gone in, it would have been a travesty after all the chances Kew Association had wasted.

HSBC as expected started the half brightly trying to level the game but Kew defended well.

They scored their second goal through Josh Brookes after an excellent counterattack and well-taken strike from outside the box.

Full of confidence, Kew played some excellent football moving the ball from back to front with pace and accuracy.

Substitute Chris Whitworth made it 3-0 with another excellent strike from just inside the penalty area.

Roberts scored his second from a well-taken Chris Evans free-kick that found him at the far post.

It was an excellent all-round performance away from home and showed if they apply ourselves like this each week, Kew Association are capable of going on a good run.

Players worthy of a special mention are Martin Sharp, who had another excellent game at the back.

Brookes in midfield scored a great goal and was a handful all afternoon. Chris Whitwoth, who came off the bench with the score at 1-0, lifted Kew's offensive play in the 30 minutes he was on.
