Hampton & Richmond Borough boss Alan Devonshire has paid tribute to fans who have helped pay the wages of on-loan Millwall defender Pat O'Connor.
The 20-year-old will remain at the Beveree until February 1 having made a good impression in three games since joining the club in December.
The New Year's Day break-in at Hammonds Bar - which saw thieves snatch match day gate receipts from the clash with Staines Town - has left the club struggling with its short-term cash flow.
Hampton's Independent Supporters Pledge Fund has covered the cost of O'Connor's first month with the Beavers and Devonshire hopes to get value for money in January.
"With games coming thick and fast over the next 4 weeks I'm delighted to be able to retain Pat over this period," he said.
"He has fitted in really well and done well for the side.
"I'd like to thank the supporters who have put their hand in their pockets to help me, the players and the club out.
"It is really truly appreciated."
