Kingstonian youth team stars Matt Amis and Jamie Summers have been called into the England U18 schoolboys squad.
Goalkeeper Amis and centre-back Summers, students at Glyn Technology School, have already represented Surrey Schools and South-East England Schools this year.
“Both boys have been through a rigorous selection process starting last year at county level,” said Glyn coach Doug Whitbourn.
“They were recommended to attend the week long English Schools FA coaching course in late July, where they both received glowing references from the national coaching team.
“They are now just one step away from playing for their country and we are all immensely proud of their achievements.”
