Hampton's involvement in the FA Cup and FA Trophy competitions will not be known for some time, as Hampton do not enter the early stages of the national cup competitions.

Due to the cessation of Setanta there is a doubt as to whether the Conference will be running a league Cup competition next season.

Mark Harper has been appointed as the new manager of H&RBFC's reserve team.

The reserves compete in the Suburban League North Division.

Harper played for a number of clubs, including Hampton and Aldershot Town.

The central defender made his debut for Hampton in November 1992 and made 61 appearances for the Beavers.

A note for the Diary, Sunday, July 26. A community Day is planned at the Beveree.

There will be a football tournament on the main pitch in which each local team will feature a Hampton first-team player.

There will also be sideshows and stalls. The fun will get under way at 10am, admission for adults is just £1, kids go free.
