After the disappointement of losing in the Blue Square South play-off final, Hampton & Richmond gathered at the Hotel Antoinette last Friday, where more than 100 supporters and players celebrated their best ever season.
Awards were made to both first and reserve teams, and the winners were as follows: Reserve Team Golden Boot LEVI KING Sportsman CHRIS DAVIES Most Improved JESSE ATAISSE Players Player DEAN INMAN Managers Player JAMES BLACKSHAW Supporters Trust Player of the Year DEAN WELLS First Team Golden Boot LAWRENCE YAKU Best Newcomer JOHN SCARBOROUGH Sportsman CRAIG TANNER Supporters Player DEAN WELLS Players Player MATT LOVETT Managers Player IAN HODGES Clubman Award DAVID REES Chairmans Award STEVE O'NEILL Hampton Chairman Steve McPherson not only thanked the players for their magnificent efforts last season but also the volunteers who had to cope with three big games at the end of a momentous season.
