n the net Kingstonian striker Steve Goddard has become the second player in a week to quit Kingsmeadow in search of first team football in Ryman League Division One South.
The former AFC Wimbledon front-man scored three goals from eights starts since joining Ks from their landlords and follows former Tooting & Mitcham defender Ryan Gray out of the exit door.
Boss Alan Dowson, who admitted there were no hard feelings between him and the pair, said: “Steve’s been frustrated as he’s not been able to get into the team.
“He’s had some games at Chessington & Hook United, but wants to be playing in our league and as I've said before his destiny is in his own hands in terms of his ability.
“Ryan was unlucky to get injured towards the end of pre-season and after the start we've had just hasn't been able to get in when I think he would get into most other sides.”
