Hampton & Richmond Borough 0 Brentford 2 (Connell 71, Ademole 88)

Att: 1,078

Brentford won at Hampton & Richmond Borough with two goals in the last 20 minutes.

The Beavers went close on a number of occasions and had a goal disallowed for a doubtful offside decision.

In the 17th minute a delightful interchange of passes between Lawrence Yaku and Shaun McAuley almost brought about a goal for Hampton but McAuley`s effort was kicked off the line.

Alan Connell`s attempted chip landed on top of Hampton`s net in the 25th minute and then Yaku and McAuley combined well again, Yaku`s shot was deflected away by Simon Brown, McAuley`s follow up shot striking the upright.

In the second half Stuart Lake diverted Marcello Fernandes`s shot just wide of an upright. Later Lake was involved again when he stole in to `score` after Yaku`s chip was saved by Brown, unfortunately an off side flag cancelled out the goal.

Shortly after Hampton`s goal was disallowed Brentford took the lead when Connell scored from close range.

Two minutes from time Moses Ademole made it 2-0 to the League Two side.
