Hampton & Richmond Borough boss Alan Dowson will not be losing sleep over the fact a deal for Richard Pacquette remains unsigned.
The former Havant & Waterlooville striker, who famously scored against Liverpool in the FA Cup, has been with the Beavers all summer, but is yet to commit his future to the club.
And Dowson, who expects to field a similar squad at Harrow Borough on Saturday to the one that drew with Crystal Palace last week, is not fussed if it remains that way.
“We’ve not got a lot of money to throw about, but we have made Richard an offer,” he said.
“He has been great around the dressing room and done well when he has played.
“We have Dan Thompson, Charlie Moone and Nick Kabamba, so it is up to Richard to get in the side over the next three or four weeks. If gets the shirt and does well, he’ll keep it.
“I’ll not haggle for players or chase players. If they do not want to sign, then we move on and find someone who does.”
