Ryman Premier Division
Dulwich Hamlet made a triumphant return to the Ryman Premier Division when goals from Ellis Green and Erhun Oztumer sealed a 2-1 win over Lowestoft at Champion Hill.
There was less good news for Carshalton Athletic – having been reprieved from relegation to the Ryman Division One South, the Robins opened the new season with a 4-0 defeat at Wingate & Finchley.
Andre McCollin fired Kingstonian to a 1-0 win at Canvey Island from the penalty spot, while Dave Knight grabbed Met Police nothing but a consolation goal in a 2-1 defeat at Enfield Town.
Charlie Moone did what he does best for Hampton & Richmond Borough putting them ahead from the penalty spot at home to Margate – however, the day ended badly as the visitors came back to win 2-1.
