Kingstonian Women's U18s head coach Stef Loucaides got a shock last week when he was named female game coach of the year by the Football Association.
Loucaides collected his award from Sir Trevor Brooking and the FA's head of grassroots coaching Les Howie at St George's Park in Burton-upon-Trent last Thursday.
The Awards were organised by The FA Licensed Coaches Club, which raises standards across the game by ensuring coaches keep their training up to date.
“It was a shock but is of course a great honour. I will do everything I can to improve the women’s game in Kingston and Surrey,” said Loucaides.
