Sutton United winger Tom Bolarinwa believes the mix of players at Gander Green Lane is just right for a push at the National League South play-offs.
Bolarinwa, a summer signing from Cray Wanderers, came off the bench at Ebbsfleet United as United went down 1-0 to the league leaders.
The defeat in north Kent on Tuesday night, on the back of Saturday’s 1-0 home win over Gosport Borough, puts United 12th in the fledgling table.
Bolarinwa said: “We were unlucky against Ebbsfleet, the boys worked really hard.

“We set up to match them, and the only time that didn’t happen was for the goal. Craig [Eastmond] was tugged back in the run up to it and the ref has not given it.
“But in the second half we looked more dangerous than they did.”
He added: “The play-offs are a realistic aim for us, we have a good set of lads with good ability and they are fighters.
“There’s a good mix too of experience and young lads too, and that’s the mix you need to have to be in and around the play-offs.”
