Midfielder Stuart Dallas is hoping lady luck will pay Brentford a visit when Blackburn Rovers arrive at Griffin Park this weekend.
A Sean Scannell strike, a Jake Bidwell own goal and an inspried display from home goalkeeper Alex Smithies proved enough for Huddersfield Town to secure a 2-1 victory in west Yorkshire on Saturday.
Jonthan Douglas hit his fourth goal of the season in the 70th minute to set up a frantic finale, but boss Mark Warburton's men could not get the ball past Town keeper and man of the match Smithies for an equaliser.
But Dallas, one of three substitutes who played a key role in Brentford's spirited second half display, is hopeful Bees will soon get the rub of the green again.
"We've got a good honest bunch of lads, who will always give 100 per cent," he said on Saturday.
"We've got a great togetherness and I think that showed in the second half when we really gave it a go.
"A mixture between great goalkeeping and defending meant we could not get the second goal.
"When we did get it past the keeper, a defender blocks it with his lower stomach and it bounces away.
"You need these bits of luck and we did not get them, but we'll dust ourselves down and prepare for Blackburn like we always do."
