Bees skipper Tony Craig is not getting carried away with his side’s eight match unbeaten run.
Brentford, currently fourth in the League One table, travel to Notts County on Saturday looking for an eighth win in nine games.
“We’re on a good run of form and the results are going for us, but we have to take each game as it comes,” he said on Tuesday.
“Four points from our past two games, we would have snapped your hand off for that on Saturday at 2pm.
“We’ve got our points target now and we’ll move on.”
