Wimbledon's Laura Robson is out of the Japan Open in Osaka after losing her quarter-final tie overnight.
The world number 56, who has been trying to break into the top 50 this season, went down in a third set decider to Chang Kai-Chen of Chinese Taipei 6-3 3-6 7-6 (7-4).
Robson, 18, dropped her serve twice in the opening set against the world number 134, but the deciding set went with serve until Chang won the tight tie break.
Next up for Robson is a return to the UK for the Aegon GB Pro-Series in Barnstaple from October 29.
