Epsom Downs’ Millie Maguire cannot wait to get up close and personal with tennis superstars Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray at the ATP World Tour Finals later this month.
Beacon School pupil Maguire will be one of 30 Barclays Ball Kids at the O2 Arena in London from November 20-27 having beaten off competition from 2,500 hopefuls and is excited for the experience.
"I am really excited about being on court for the finals now and I am going to apply to be a ball girl at Wimbledon too," the 14-year-old said.
“I am looking forward to seeing Rafael Nadal the most because I just like him and he’s my favourite player.
“It is so scary thinking I will be on court at the O2 but really cool too.
“I am a nervous and worried about forgetting what I am doing.”
