Bees boss Uwe Rosler has told his players they must get their home form up to scratch, if not for themselves, then for the Griffin Park faithful.

Brentford came from 2-1 down to secure a point at Carlisle United with a 2-2 draw thanks to Toumani Diagouraga’s injury-time strike – his second goal in as many games.

It was the first time in League One this season that Rosler’s men have responded to being a goal down to rescue a positive result and kept their impressive away form intact.

But it is his seventh-placed side’s efforts in west London that have given the manager, who could welcome back Shaleum Logan at the weekend, most cause for concern.

And he wants that put right with the visit of mid-table Scunthorpe United on Saturday.

“It was the first time we have been 1-0 or 2-1 down and continued to play the way we wanted to,” he said.

“We put pressure on them in the right way and we believed in what we were doing.

“We have gone behind and not got back into games in previous matches, but we have focused on this and we were still able to pass the ball around.

“Scunthorpe is an important game for us and we have to put our home form right.

“Against Huddersfield and Preston we were probably underdogs and now we want to give the crowd something to cheer.”
