Kaid Mohamed fired AFC Wimbledon to the Blue Square Premier play-off final and then warned Luton Town - I am going to score against you too.

The in-form Welshman fired a hat-trick as the Dons romped to an impressive 6-1 win over Fleetwood Town and an 8-1 aggregate semi-final triumph on Wednesday night.

Having also scored in the first leg win on Friday, it now means he has seven goals in five career play-off games after notching three for Bath City in Blue Square South last season.

With all eyes on next Saturday's final with Luton Town at the City of Manchester Stadium, Mohamed wants to continue his goalscoring heroics.

"I have scored in every play-off game and hopefully I can do that for AFC Wimbledon this year and score in the final," he said.

"Manchester is going to be amazing and a great game to play in with two massive teams and hopefully we can do the business.

"The atmosphere on Wednesday night was amazing to play in, it was unreal.

"The fans are great and keep us going, so hopefully we can do it for them and get AFC Wimbledon back in the league where they belong.

"It is the league everyone wants to be in, everyone that plays football wants to play in the league so let's hope AFC Wimbledon can do it."

Since joining from Bath on March 25, Mohamed has scored five goals in nine games and justified his decision to turn down offers from clubs already in the Football League to sign for the Dons.

"I chose the right option," he said.

"Playing for these fans is unreal, the atmosphere is just incredible and I do not regret anything I have done and I am looking forward to the final.

"I have been here five weeks now and the boys are great, the gaffer is gas and I get on with all the staff.

"We are playing brilliant football that suits me and I am enjoying myself."

Manager Terry Brown was full of praise for 26-year-old Mohamed, who got the ball rolling after just 27 seconds and scored his others after 35 and 63 minutes, with Danny Kedwell, Christian Jolley and James Mulley getting the other goals.

"The difference Mo has made to our team has been phenomenal," he said, "He takes a lot of the pressure off Danny Kedwell, who is a quality forward, but needed someone to take the weight of him.

"Mo has an unbelievable record in play-offs, he is a big time player and I am delighted we can get him and Danny running at people."
