Brentford boss Andy Scott says Sam Wood's broken arm is a major blow, but it will not stop him from putting the hard yards in on the training pitch.
The 24-year-old suffered the injury early on in Saturday's 2-1 New Year's Day triumph over Dagenham & Redbridge having played a large part in Robbie Simpson's 10th minute opening goal.
But Scott reckons there will be no time for the former Bromley man to take it easy.
"He’ll be out for a while, which is a big blow for us and for him because he has really found his form and confidence," he said on Saturday.
"He was looking forward to the second half of the season. But he will be back.
"It’s only his arm so we’ll get his legs and his lungs working."
