Palace 5 v 0 Brighton, October 26, 2002.
For any Palace fan the 5-0 drubbing of rivals Brighton at Selhurst Park was a very sweet moment indeed.
Andy Johnson further enhanced his already large status with the Eagles fans with a hat-trick.
The only downside was the Brighton manager was none other than Palace legend Steve Coppell at the time.
I should also mention Jobi McAnuff's stoppage time winner at the Withdean Stadium in 2005 was also rather pleasing.
Brighton may not be are nearest rivals, but it really does feel good to beat them.
The victory over Charlton at Selhurst last season was rather good too.
