Dons boss Terry Brown could receive a five-figure cash windfall to solve an injury crisis enveloping the club ahead of the Blue Square South campaign.

The club has unveiled one of the biggest sponsorship deal in its history with Wimbledon-based roofing contracters Paul Strank & Sons, which will see the main stand at Kingsmeadow named after the 40-year-old company.

Midfielder Lewis Taylor has been ruled out for the season with knee ligament trouble, while keeper James Pullen, striker Chris Sullivan and fellow frontman Belal Aiteouakrim have all been sidelined in recent weeks.

Dons commercial executive Keith McGuinness is delighted the deal has been done ahead of next week's opening day clash with former Don Dean Holdsworth's Newport County.

"This couldn't have come at a more opportune moment considering the injuries Terry is having to cope with," he added.
