AFC Wimbledon needed a penalty shoot-out to defeat Kingstonian in the annual Trevor Jones Memorial match at Kingsmeadow tonight.
They eventually won 4-1 in a penalty shoot-out, forced after Ks forced a last-minute equaliser.
Wimbledon, who kick off the new season two divisions higher than their Kingsmeadow tenants, took a 77th minute lead through Sam Hatton.
But NJ Lampton struck for Ks in the last minute to force the spot-kicks.
More to follow on this match tomorrow.
