Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi has again been heavily linked with a move to Crystal Palace this summer.

According to reports in the Express, Chelsea are now willing to listen to offers for the Belgian rather than losing him on a free when his contract expires at the end of next season.

Chelsea will want to recoup a portion of the £35million they paid Marseille for the 26-year-old, and Palace feel they could get his signature for £20million with Batshuayi allegedly wanting to remain in London.

The forward is already well liked in South East London having spent the second half of last season on loan at Selhurst Park, netting five goals in nine starts for the Eagles.

Batshuayi has failed to nail down regular minutes in Frank Lampard’s side with Tammy Abraham and Olivier Giroud pushing him down the pecking order.

With one goal in 16 appearances this season, it looks like the one-time Borussia Dortmund and Valencia striker’s time at Stamford Bridge is drawing to a close.

Palace boss Roy Hodgson has long mooted his desire to have a bonafide striker at the club, and feel he can get the best out of Batshuayi.

The Eagles only have Christian Benteke and Jordan Ayew as fit forwards at the club after loan signing Cenk Tosun’s season ending injury and Conor Wickham’s loan to Sheffield Wednesday.

It’s thought Hodgson is keen to make Tosun’s move permanent at the end of his 18month loan deal, raising questions over Wickham’s long term future.
