Victor Camarasa’s loan spell at Crystal Palace has finished early after Real Betis re-called the midfielder before loaning him back out to Alaves.

The Spaniard signed a season-long loan deal in the summer after impressing for Cardiff City in the Premier League last term, but the 25-year-old has found game time hard to come by under Palace boss Roy Hodgson.

With one late substitute appearances in the league and one start in the league cup, his departure has not come as a surprise.

Camarasa missed Palace's last outing, the 1-1 draw with Arsenal, with a calf strain.

Palace wished the former Spain under-21 midfielder 'their very best' when confirming his departure on the club website.
