Brentford are keeping tabs on Andre Green’s situation at Aston Villa with a view to a move for the forward in January.
The Premiership outfit loaned out the 21-year-old to Preston at the beginning of the campaign with hope of first team football.
Having fallen down Alex Neil’s pecking order at Deepdale however, Dean Smith’s Villains are mulling over whether to recall Green in January and cash in on the forward with his contract set to expire in the summer.
With just six appearances for the Lilywhites, Thomas Frank’s Brentford feel they can claim themselves a bargain when the transfer window opens next month.
The Bees feel Green would be a great addition to their already potent attacking line-up.
Looking to maintain their onslaught up the table, Green’s arrival would help fill the void left by the injured Sergi Canos who has yet to be given a return date since rupturing his achillies in October.
Brentford won't be alone in chasing the Villa man however, as Stuttgart, Utrecht and Zulte have all been reported to ahve shown an interest.
