Brentford have joined a host of Championship clubs in the race for Livingstone striker Lyndon Dykes.

According to reports the Bees have earmarked the 24-year-old forward to bolster Thomas Frank’s impressive attacking options.

Despite only making his Livingstone debut this season, six goals and five assists in 19 games has catapulted the Australian-born forward into the spotlight.

The Bees join QPR, Derby County, Cardiff City and Blackburn in the race for the former Queen of the South frontman and it’s thought Dykes is keen on a move to the second tier of English football.

Livingstone find themselves in the lower half of Scotland’s top-flight despite Dykes’s contribution and the forward has made it known he wishes to test himself at a higher level.
