Here's how the Crystal Palace players rated in their 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Vicente Guaita - 9

Extraordinary save to deny Doherty from close range and a number of stops which you feel kept Palace in the game. Could do nothing for the equaliser. What a find the Spaniard has been.

Joel Ward - 7

Solid in defence and even threw in a piece of skill in the first half. Chose his moments to get forward but when he did it paid off. Very unlcuky to lose his footing for the late goal.

Gary Cahill - 8

A real calming influence at the back. Always looks to play his way out of trouble and get his side on the front foot, but only at the right times. Too old they said……not on this performance.

Mamadou Sakho - 7

Made a number of clearing headers off the set-piece and looks to be getting back to his best.

Patrick van Aanholt - 5

Tough against the speedy Traore and Wolves targeted the left-back. Allowed a number of dangerous crosses in which went unpunished, until the 95th minute.

Cheikhou Kouyate - 7

The marauding midfielder dovetailed well with Milivojevic in the middle and set a solid base for which the Eagles attacked from. Does all the unfashionable stuff you don’t get to see on Match of The Day.

Luka Milivojevic - 7

Always available, the Serb IS the heartbeat of the team. Wins it and gives it to those who can create. Sounds simple but he’s invaluable. Made some vital challenges in the first half.

James McArthur - 6

Made one vital block early on and was tenacious in the tackle as always. Picked up a yellow for his troubles when Traore showed him a clean pair of heels on the counter attack.

Jeffrey Schlupp - 7

Endless running from the left winger and helped van Aanholt out in defence when needed. Sometimes his attacking ability gets overlooked but he played a vital role in the opening goal and looked a constant threat down the left.

Wilfried Zaha - 8

Back to his best? Caused mayehn down both flanks as he roamed across the Wolves backline. Put Jonny on the floor with a piece of skill and Saiss will be glad to see the back of him. Came close to that goal and assist that his performance deserved.

Jordan Ayew - 7

Only £5million? He’s a player clearly playing with confidence. Unrecognisable to the forward from last season he’s becoming the complete package. Held the ball up well and relieved pressure with a number of runs from his own half, needs goals though.

Christian Benteke - 4

Should’ve doubled the lead shortly after his introduction but fired straight at Patricio. Lacking confidence and will be the scapegoat for defeat.
