Wilfried Zaha could yet leave Crystal Palace with PSG reportedly tracking the winger.

With Neymar’s departure from the French Champions looking increasingly likely, Zaha has emerged as a replacement should PSG boss Thomas Tuchel miss out on his first choice target.

Paulo Dybala.

Zaha has spoken of his desire to play elite level football and the Parc de Princes club would offer that as well as being recognised globally as a footballing powerhouse.

Juventus’ Dybala is Tuchel’s preferred option but should a move fall through, Palace’s 26-year-old is thought to be next in line.

According to Ian McGarry, speaking to Transfer Window Podcast, Dybala’s conduct in the summer where Manchester United and Tottenham thought they were close to agreeing a deal only to see the move collapse over personal issue, could prove a precedent as to what lay ahead.

Meaning a move for Zaha is feasible.

"I'm told that he (Zaha) is not first choice at PSG - that is Dybala," he said.

"Personal terms and a contract have been agreed and that would be quicker and easier for PSG to sign Dybala should Neymar leave.

"We know that Dybala is a little bit 'flighty' - and I don't mean in terms of his travel preferences.

"He would prefer to stay in Turin, but I think the message is clear from Juventus and Sarri that they would rather he left.

"So several players are effectively waiting on tenterhooks to see if deals are done with Neymar at the centre of that."

Zaha was left disappointed in the transfer window as his transfer request failed to force through a move with bids from Arsenal and Everton both rejected.

The Ivorian has featured in all of Palace’s opening fixtures but started the opening match of the season against Everton on the bench after his manager said he was not in ‘the right frame of mind’ as the transfer window drew to a close.

The deadline for transfers in Ligue 1 falls on August 31.
