Jonny Williams has signed a one-year deal with Charlton Athletic.
Williams becomes manager Lee Bowyer's sixth signing of the transfer window.
The midfielder, 25, spent the second half of last season at The Valley where he played an influential role in Charlton's promotion to the Championship.
The one-year deal has an option of a further 12-months.
Welsh International Williams joins Macauley Bonne, Chuks Aneke, Tom Lockyer, Ben Purrington and Ben Amos through The Valley gates this summer.
"I’m over the moon to be back with this group of lads, the manager and the staff," he told the CAFC Official.
"I feel at home here, so I’m delighted to sign and I’m really excited about playing for this team in the Championship."
The midfielder is expected to play in Charlton's pre-season friendly with Gillingham on Saturday.
Williams ended his eight year association with Crystal Palace in January when he signed a short term deal with The Addicks, having taken in loan spells with Ipswich, Nottingham Forest, MK Dons, and Sunderland.
Fans had been calling for his signing all summer, and the news was warmly received by the Addicks faithful.
