With 12 goals in all competitions so far this season, Bowyer will be hoping his fine form continues in to the new year as they push for promotion.

When available Taylor is a shoe-in in Bowyer’s starting line-up. His desire to get his side on the front foot has caused him to pick up a number of yellows which resulted in a suspension, but the Charlton boss won’t mind that if he continues to lead the line in such a determined manner.

There is very little in the form of criticism you can throw at Taylor. Both on and off the pitch he has embraced the ‘family—club’ mentality of Charlton. His Pink-October efforts garnered well-deserved praise for his fund-raising campaign and endeared himself to the Charlton faithful.

One criticism, two missed penalties, but we’ll forgive him those.
