Crystal Palace ladies goal-scoring hero Gemma Bryan says the club ethos is behind their victory in the Surrey FA County Cup.
A 2-1 win over AFC Wimbledon on Thursday night, featuring a first half Nicha Dyett goal and Bryan’s second half winner, was enough to give the Eagles a league and cup double.
Bryan said: "We are all so proud. We have worked hard all season and have earned our two trophies.
“With the backing of probably the best fans in women's football and a club that is embracing the vision we have, it is great to deliver on the pitch.”
She added: "I had a few chances and hadn't managed to put them away, but I always felt that I would get another chance.
“With the players I have around me, I know that I will always have a chance of laying a goal on, or scoring.
“While it is great to get the goal, this is about the effort of an entire squad and we're all proud to be a part of Crystal Palace FC."
