Herne Hill Harriers’ youngsters brought home a haul of medals from the South of England AA Age Group Championships at Ashford in Kent last weekend.
Michaella Pottinger won gold in the U13 girls’ 100m in a new personal best of 13.19secs, and the 200m in 27.11secs.
Other firsts came from Feysel Nadew (U17 men’s 800m in one minute 55.61secs) and Mohamed Mohamud (U15 boys’ 1,500m in 4:19.01).
In what was a close finish, Oscar Millard also did well in the 1,500m, placing fifth in a personal best of 4.23.37.
Elsewhere, Lakeisha Owusu-Junior took bronze in the U15 girls’ 100m, clocking 12.48secs.
In the field events, Alfred Mawdsley (U15 boys’ discus, 46.00m) and Ore Adamson (U15 girls’ long jump, 5.46m) won silver.
