Whyteleafe striker Greg Andrews reckons they have the players to stand in for leading goal-scorer Roscoe DSane.
The former AFC Wimbledon hitman has 21 Ryman Division One South goals to his name this season, including both in Saturday’s 3-2 defeat at home to Corinthian Casuals.
However, following a controversial sending off at Hastings United two weekends ago means he now starts a three-match ban.
Andrews said: “There was a bit of a coming together between Roscoe and the Hastings lad, but I was jogging back towards the half way line and didn’t see it.
“Their player was down on the floor saying Roscoe lashed out at him, but he’s not that type of player.”
He added: “Roscoe’s form speaks for itself and he’s played brilliantly this year, of course he’s going to be a big miss.
“But we’ve got a number of good players in the squad who’ll be able to step up.”
DSane misses the games against Three Bridges, Faversham Town and Burgess Hill Town.
Leafe remain in the play-offs places despite Saturday’s defeat.
