Some people might have been stunned by Hampton & Richmond Borough defender Matt Drage's dramatic injury time winner against Harrow Borough, but it came as no surprise to the man himself.
The former Kingstonian centre back fired home from the edge of the box to secure a 2-1 Ryman Premier League triumph to land the Beavers their first win since beating Margate in November.
"I've scored quite a few like that. One this season for old Kingstonian against Met Police," he said.
"It was one of them where I just hit and hope really. It was a crowded box and in the 90th minute, so I thought I might as well give it a go.
"It was good to get the three points, hopefully, we can kick on and get away from the relegation zone."
The goal completed a fine fightback after boss Alan Dowson's men had gone in at half time 1-0 down to a controversial Nik Salapatas penalty - given for a foul by Drage on Harrow's Michael Bryan that appeared to be well outside the box.
The fact Bryan put the ball down for a free kick after referee Paul Howard blew his whistle was lost on the man in black.
Full back Mark Onyemah spared his blushes by scrambling the equaliser in the 87th minute before Drage's late show.
"It was never a penalty. It wasn't even a foul let alone a penalty and I've been told it was miles outside the box," added the Beavers' hero.
"The ref owes me a pint. He said he'd buy my a pint if he got it wrong. It is a shock he's not here."
He added: "We have not lost in 2015. We're four games unbeaten and, hopefully, we can kick on and get a few wins."
