Kingstonian boss Alan Dowson is confident his squad can sustain their promotion push this term.
The former Walton & Hersham manager has plenty of experience of seeing his sides let a strong start to the campaign slip after Christmas.
But with his current team comfortably in the Ryman Premier League top five, he has insisted that will not happen this time around.
“In the past my teams have just about been clinging on to a play-off place,” he said.
“The table does not lie.
“In 20-odd games we have not been outside the top five all season and have been top of the table twice.
“This is completely different to before. We’re not just hanging on. We’ve never been in such a position.”
