Bees fans are starting to see the best of loan striker Marcello Trotta, says boss Uwe Rosler.
The 21-year-old scores his fourth goal in six games with the opener in Saturday's 5-0 thrashing of Crewe Alexandra.
Trotta returned to Griffin Park from Fulham on loan knowing he had to win the hearts of Bees fans, having missed the penalty that would have landed promotion last season.
And Rosler reckons the Italian is winning his battle.
“Marcello has come on a long way since he came back to us," said the manager.
"He's started to overcome his disappointment from Fulham. Now he is getting stronger and stronger.
"He is listening and works hard. His work rate is like day and night from when he came to us.
"He wasn't 100% fit, or had a pre-season, but now he has arrived as a Brentford player and is fully committed to our cause."
