Head coach Stuart Lancaster labelled Harlequins full back Mike Brown as England's stand out player of the autumn international series.
The 28-year-old, man of the match against Australia, was again superb as his side fell short of a famous win against New Zealand on Saturday, eventually going down 30-22 at rugby HQ.
And Lancaster admitted Brown had been a model of consistency for his country.
"It would be hard to argue if there wasn't a better or more consistent player in our team," he said.
"He has been exceptional in all three games.
"He wasn't virtually error free, but he wasn't far off and his ability to beat th tackler and make yards gives our forwards time.
"He is a great example of a player who has worked incredibly hard on his game to play for England and was our stand out player in the autumn international series."
