Four goals from Charlie Moone plus a sweet finish from Tommy Brewer were too much for Hendon as Hampton & Richmond Borough won 5-2 on Tuesday to secure a much needed three points.
The Beavers were always in control from the start with Moone netting his first on 21 minutes and his second seven minutes later to send Beavers in 2-0 up at half time.
The former Woking striker completed his hat-trick on 51 minutes and then buried a penalty for his fourth just four minutes later to take his season's tally to 15 - with nine coming in his last five appearances.
After Hendon got a couple back, Tommy Brewer strode forward and hit a daisy cutter into the corner of the net for the Beavers fifth with just a few minutes left.
