Thames Ditton Cricket Club have announced the signing of an overseas coach and a first team player.
Adbiel Hughes currently shares his time between coaching Montserrat and coaching the youth side in Antigua.
He has also coached alongside Kenny Benjamin, the former West Indian test cricketer.
Hughes will be responsible for both senior and junior coaching and will bring a strategy and structure to our coaching programme.
Rakeem Cornwall, 20, is rated as the best young player in his age group in the Caribbean.
Cornwall, an imposing figure at 6'8" tall, has already scored a century in the Caribbean against a touring Nottinghamshire side and this year has taken 24 wickets in the first five matches in this year’s league.
