Richmond RFC’s Alice Richardson is England Women head coach Gary Street’s flavour of the month ahead of the final Test against New Zealand at Twickenham.
Centre Richardson, and Richmond lock Rowena Burnfield, have been named in the starting line-up as England look to seal a Test series 3-0 whitewash over the world champions tomorrow.
Street said: “This is certainly my strongest available starting line up.
“Alice Richardson is part of a new and exciting midfield combination that I think will bring a lot of dynamics to our game, just like they have done for the England Sevens squad.”
England wrapped up the series beating the Black Ferns 17-8 on Tuesday night, a match, which featured Richmond’s Alex Matthews, following on from last weekend’s 16-13 win in the opening Test.
Richmond club-mates Emma Croker and Fran Matthews – sister to Alex – are on the replacements bench for the final match, which is due to kick off at 5pm – following England's QBE international against the All Blacks.
