A car accident by South Wimbledon tube station yesterday resulted in traffic chaos.
The driver is alleged to have fled the scene after crashing on Merton Road (the A219) at about 5pm on Saturday (January 6).
It seems the car narrowly missed colliding with Head Barbers, and witnesses said there was a high police presence after the crash.
The car appears to be a dark grey Peugeot 308.
The Metropolitan Police have been approached for comment.
