Travel was disrupted on train services in Croydon as police searched for a man with a knife.
Southern Rail tweeted at around 4.30pm yesterday (February 1) that services to and from Clapham Junction and West Croydon may be cancelled, delayed up to 10 mins or revised due to "police dealing with an incident in the Selhurst area."
British Transport Police have confirmed that they are currently searching for a man "in possession of a knife."
A BTP spokeman said: "We were called to Peckham Rye at 3.53pm and officers on the scene are currently searching the area for the man.
"So far there have been no arrests.
"Anyone who saw anything is asked to text 6106 and reference 364."
